A statistical report issued by the (Saudi) Ministry of Health revealed that 2372 people were infected with brucellosis during 2020, with an infection rate of 6.22 per 100 000 of the population, cases in Taif exceeded the total number of cases in 9 (administrative) health regions, reaching 301 cases compared to 242 for these 9 regions combined.
