Health officials in Ratanakiri province in northeast Cambodia are reporting an increase in chikungunya cases.
Officials note that 100 people contracted chikungunya in O’Chum district.
The Khmer Times reports, O’Chum district police chef Colonel Hong Kim Heng said Chikungunya and dengue fever had occurred in the district, especially in mountainous areas.
Provincial Health Department intervened and brought children and adults to O’Chum Health Center and Provincial Referral Hospital.
