In the past month and a half, the city of Jacobabad, in northern Sindh province, has seen a surge of measles deaths in children.
According to a Ary News report, an additional child, a 3-year-old boy, died from measles, bringing the total death toll of children by measles to 50.
“Measles is a dangerous and deadly disease for children. Vaccination is the only safety for children against it,” health officials said.
